QMS Software Asia Pacific continues to win new business

Irish Ambassador to Malaysia opens new QMS Asia Pacific Headquarters to Service Growing Market

With the opening of its new facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, QMS Software Asia Pacific, the Malaysia based arm of the Irish company QMS Software, has seen its sales in the Asia Pacific region increase to €700K. This figure is expected to grow by 50% year on year over the next five years when it will represent 30% of the QMS Software group revenues, as the company continues to achieve major growth for its market-leading customer care management tools, the Ulysses Customer Service Platform.

This success was marked at an event today when Ireland’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Eugene Hutchinson, performed the official opening of the QMS Software Asia Pacific headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, together with its Chairman Frank Cole, in a ceremony that included many senior executives of QMS Software Asia Pacific’s customers.

QMS Software has launched its Ulysses Customer Service Platform to the Malaysian and wider Asia Pacific region. The product has been successfully implemented by well known companies such as Fonterra (New Zealand’s biggest indigenous company), Mydin, Bolton Berhad, IT Services, Alurtnenaga, Powercomp and Centrionics. Markets served include Malaysia, China, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore and the QMS Software Malaysia office has been set up to market to and support users, and to meet the increasing demand for the company’s products in the region.

The Ulysses Customer Service Platform, with a large number of users worldwide, is a platform focused on service management and customer care solutions. QMS Software provides its clients with a complete range of services including local customisation, implementation, training and support with locally based staff. This is appreciated by customers as they are dealing direct with the authors, rather than an agent.

Speaking at the event Lim Chiew Shan, Managing Director of QMS Software Asia Pacific, said: “It is important to have systems that not only cater for acquiring new customers but retain existing ones.
